We ate here because it was in the same building as our hotel. The first problem was the dreadful noise (Muzak) which meant conversation would be almost impossible. They did turn it down a bit. Plenty of food on the plate (probably too much as is usual in the US). The breakfast was completely spoiled for us when the waiter... More

We had breakfast here one day and lunch another. For breakfast we had pancakes with bacon. I must remember that everything in NY is bigger. It beat us. Really loved the apple juice. Lovely waitress Today we had lunch. My wife had the BBQ chicken and ribs combo. I had lamb chops. Gorgeous. Again the waitress was superb.

I got my food incredibly fast and my french onion soup was good. That's all the good I can say. The service was OK. The setting is odd. My salad had no taste and my iced tea was warm and $5. There are too many really good diners in NYC to consider this place.

Had a delicious breakfast at a very comfortable table. We paid $40 for breakfast, my husband only had oatmeat. I had a breakfast burrito and coffee. That's it, a bit pricey for me. I wouldn't go back again because it wasn't worth it.

Ended up here by default, but we were satisfied. I had the turkey burger & French onion soup. My friend just ordered the chicken noodle soup. Their lunch special $19, not bad for midtown Manhattan.

The only good thing about this diner is it's staff - kind, friendly and trying to meet your needs. I had the brunch special, but was forced to let everything go back out. I commented the quality to the waiters, but it seemed it wasn't the first time they'd faced the comments of poor quality food. Neither the chef nor... More

My sister has some dietary challenges for food. We had to ask 3 times on what was in certain things on the menu. Couldnt get a straight answer so she ordered bland potatos. We ordered a gluten free pizza which was very boring. My wife had a sandwich which was okay. The diner was pretty empty. I dont think was... More

I was really looking forward to some good, hardy food when I went there. Although nothing particular was wrong, I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. I didn't even bother with the cheesecake (even though I was seated right in front of the dessert display). The service was friendly and attentive.

Stayed in the intercontinental just over the road and we had breakfast at Raffles on our first morning and returned for the next 3 the food was great! The waitress who served us on the first morning was lovely and seemed to remember us every morning and ever though she never served us on our last two visits she still... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
