We paid our first visit to Craft for our wedding anniversary. Everything exceeded our very high expectations—greeting by name, personalized menus, impeccable and very friendly service, spectacular food and wine from the tasting menu and—for NYC—reasonable cost for the quality of the experience. The spaghetti...More

My partner treated me to a birthday meal at Craft after we’d seen it pop up in our favourite TV show (Showtime's Billions). That evening was undoubtedly one of the best dining experiences of my life. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, and each...More

Wine choices...amazing...Focus Gras....best I’ve ever had! The main dish $150 NY Strip was beyond disappointing. Nothing special. No flavor at all cold. Just plan bad. Had high hopes but drastically missed the mark with this Steak dish.

A famous TV chef, a great menu, skilled servers... well worth the trip downtown. The interior is looking a little tired but it doesn't take from the food.

A family visit to an old-time favorite and everyone was thoroughly satisfied. The $ 26 Restaurant Week prix fixe is a good value. The “foie torchon” was outstanding ($3 supplement), as was the steak tartare with truffle and wild mushroom.

I'm sorry to report that this experience, for this level of restaurant that it is supposed to be, was average. The decor was nice, but the food was average at best. I did not select this restaurant, but it sounded like it had real possibilities...More

The food was fantastic but with everything a la crate the bill gets crazy. If you want desert to be ice cream a cookie and a little fruit you are looking at a $30 desert. Same with dinner. The entree is served with nothing and...More

A great many NYC restaurants seem to give their main chef the summer or weekends off or send them to a branch in the Hamptons, making for an expensive (and sometimes embarrassing if entertaining) disappointment for stay at home New Yorkers. This was not the...More

Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set
amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron
District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd

which makes a good picture no matter what angle you
photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant
architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this
neighborhood is part of a historic district that was
