We always go to Lychee House when we're in NYC. The service is great; the food is ALWAYS good! Nice variety to choose from, lovely facility, midtown location near Park Ave.

We have been to NYC many times and we always stay in a hotel near this restaurant. We love their food! Best Chinese we have ever had. Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff and delicious food! Always a staple during our visits! Will be back!!!

We travel to NYC regularly and every visit includes a trip to Lychee House. The food is excellent and they've even offered to make dishes for us that aren't on the menu. Very accommodating with my daughter's gluten and dairy issues. Highly recommend.

Being a dumpling fanatic, this place was a find. The Shanghai soup dumplings were superb. The pork dumplings were superb and their main courses were very good including the jumbo shrimp and broccoli. Prices were modest for the quality. Service was very good but the restaurant is overheated and a chef napping at a table in the rear was a... More

We went there for Chinese New Year and the place was packed. The food is well prepared and prices reasonable. The best in the area.

Had dinner here with friends- service was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and nicely appointed. The food was good, but not great. Prices were average. I enjoyed my meal, but would not eat here again given so many other choices in the area.

I think the bottom line when reading reviews is whether someone would return... given all the choices a city such as NY has, I would. The pan fried dumplings were excellent. The "Amazing Chicken" was good, a little on the sweet side. And the shredded crispy beef was also very good. The restaurant is small and service on a Friday... More

Fantastic service and food! Delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered the pecking duck which was crispy but the pancakes that came with it were a little too thick. Apart from that, everything was on point.

We wanted a Chinese restaurant within walking distance from our hotel. Recent reviews suggested we go elsewhere, but Lychee House was the right distance, so we tried it. Very nice. Good menu, well-prepared food. Spring roll was quickly deep fried, hot with flavorful filling. Spicy sliced chicken over spinach was excellent. Passable wonton soup, and a very good chinese mushroom... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
