This is one of New York's less known gems. The fondue here is the best I have found in the city so far, so much so that I come here from the upper east side when I feel like having fondue. The meal works as follows: salad, followed by a cheese fondue (go for the Perigord with the truffle Amazing!),... More

Food was great but the service was fantastic. Got a plate and didn't like it, the manager brought us 3 different fondu plates to make up for it plus one to go. Amazing experience.

We went to Taureau and we had a lovely and delicious dinner! Great and friendly service, and the food was awesome! We ordered the cheese and truffle fondue and it was great. Romantic place, for couples is great!

We've been coming to Taureau 1-2x per year for the last 5 years. Very consistent, reliable, and good. Tonight, we were served flank steak that could not be chewed. We told the waitress, she said she's been here since September and this is the way it's been since then. Well, that's great, but that's not how it's been all the... More

Our son booked Taureau for our daughters 19th birthday and we were amazed by the excellent service and food. The fondue was amazing. A variety of cheeses to choose from, meats, dipping sauces and chocolate with fruits, cake for dipping. Never felt rushed. Will definitely return on our next NYC trip!

We loved the atmosphere and the food was outstanding! We like The Melting Pot but loved this! We took our 15 year old niece there and she really enjoyed the experience - we didn't have reservations but were lucky to get in so call ahead to be sure 👍

I love Taureau. True, I love all fondue, but Taureau was especially cute and fun. The server overheard me say it was my birthday and brought me extra fruit with a candle in the desert round. So sweet. I was absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal. The meat especially will not disappoint. BYOB would be better, which apparently... More

My son took us to Taureau to celebrate his first official paycheck. We were delighted with his choice of restaurant - from the minute you arrive, you feel very pampered and everything is explained to you. The service was excellent and the fondue was the best we have ever eaten in the States. The quantities are generous and very tasty.... More

My fiance and I discovered this place about 2 years ago when they were in the old location. The new location is much bigger but it lacks the trendy neighborhood feeling. It used to be BYOB until a couple of months ago which is a big disappointment since it is very price for having to cook your own meal. The... More

We had dinner at Taureau recently. We were two adults and two teenagers. It was a great dinner. The fondues were all very good and we enjoyed the chicken in both the oil and the broth. The chocolate fondue was, of course the highlight. The setting is very cozy and quiet and the service was fantastic. They could not have... More
