We had a good evening there and the waitress was very attentive. The food was good although it is not recommendable for people on a diet :). The place has a good atmosphere, too.

In one of my least favorite areas of NYC we had dinner here on a friend's choice. The good part of the restaurant for us were the bartenders. They have a nice selection of delicious Margarita's. The drinks are made with fresh additives which always makes for a better tasting cocktail. The waiter was also a good addition. The food... More
Fine food & service so I decided to leave a good tip. I paid cash & asked for some change. The waiter didn't come back. We waited 15 minutes, we found him apparently about to leave in plain clothes, looking like he'd finished his shift. I asked for my change & he gave it to me, without looking at me... More
They have excellent Mexican specialties here and have a choice of tableside guacamole as well as great drink specials. An outside table is a great place to people watch on a summer afternoon!
My wife and I were heading to the Whitney Museum and saw this restaurant at the intersection of 9th Avenue, Hudson Street, and 14th Street. We were both ready for lunch so I called up TripAdvisor and saw many recent very positive reviews. We decided to give the restaurant a try (and are we ever glad that we did). As... More
We came here after our New York tour 1 guide Allie recommended it to us! We were not disappointed, the drinks were fantastic to start with. We ordered Guacamole which was the best we had ever had and enchiladas with an amazing chocolate sauce! The service was quick and friendly, the atmosphere was really calm, we did come at 3:00pm... A neighborhood eatery serving good food and connected service. We were in a hurry so we grabbed a bite at the bar...next time we'll relax and enjoy it even more.
Been to this location many times. when we arrived for quick drinks and guac, we were told that there would be a 25 min wait as we were a party of 5. The two girls at the front stated that maybe it would be faster eating inside. When we went in, and explained that we were celebrating a birthday, the... More
My friends and I were walking around the city and decided to stop in Dos Caminos for "a" drink. Well...we ended staying for a few drinks and dinner. The food was delicious and OMG...that darn guacamole was divine. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the friendly (and handsome) bar staff.

Their 18 ingredient mole short ribs: I love mole but have had it only on chicken. What are the ribs like?
