Lovely little Tea parlor in downtown Manhattan. I had a hard time finding the place. There weren't many people. Only two other occupied tables. We ordered the tea service for two. You don't think it's a lot when it arrives but I was full half way through. We had the egg salad, crabmeat yuzu, chicken salad, salmon and cream cheese... More

why do I say that, because when you step into the doors of this charming establishment a sense of calm descends on you, and you feel like you just gained to spend as you choose. First of course you should order a tea, from their long list of the most flavorful teas I have ever had. Today I had a... More

Great selection of teas and sweet treats . We went there hoping to get a perfect cup of tea in NYC and were not disappointed. Small and quirky , love the way they bring the bill. Perfect end to a busy day of sight seeing

My wife and I lived in NYC for many years and we always bemoaned the fact that there was no place to just 'hang out' and have a tea or coffee without feeling like you were intruding on people trying to work on their laptops. We were happy and sad to discover Bosie Tea Parlor in our old neighborhood. Happy... More

Because the second person in my party was ten minutes late, Boise asked that I wait outside in the slush and cold even though they had four empty seats along the wall and an empty table. They said I could go and wait in a nearby bookstore, but that would have made it impossible to be there when my friend... More

We popped in here one very rainy afternoon last month and I loved it. It's so lovely and cosy inside and the staff were very nice. We had an enormous pot of tea (we're British so can only go an hour tops without a tea) and we had a cake each which were beautiful. It's a very quiet and peaceful... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
