I came here with my parents. It was the first time for all three of us. I ordered a butternut squash soup and a salad. The soup was great but the salad was just okay. My parents found their portions to be rather small. The cook came over to our table and introduced himself, which was thoughtful and the staff... More

What a find!!! Excellent meal for kosher or paleo/clean! I'm allergic to shellfish & dairy & eat gluten free due to RA. Not a problem here! Had the best wine, beef, beet salad, cappuccino & fondue of my life! Expensive meal worth every penny and more! Do not be afraid to celebrate life inside this family restaurant while listening to... Not my first, and for sure not my last time in this remarkable restaurant. this is the olace where your waiter will spend as long as needed to understand your personal preferences, in order to serve you the best dish, out of their fantastic choices. Service, food, cleaness, atmosphere - all are the best of the best.

Nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Our food (ceviche, followed by côte de bœuf) was first rate - as good as any I have ever tasted in any restaurant, including Michelin stars. Mike, the owner and executive chef, is a total gentleman. We will return, very soon.

We had business dinner with a larger group at Mike's Bistro. Top notch service. Fantastic meals; vegan, fish and meat options all experienced. Good selection of wines. The ones we enjoyed were from New Zealand. Price level is decent for business meetings, expensive for personal coverage.

There is nothing bad about this restaurant but for the price you expect more. The food is generally bland and pretty much the standard fare.

Had a perfect dinner at Mike's Bistro last night! Cannot wait to be back in NY to go there again as I seem to be doing each time I visit lately. Great ceviche! Chicken, tasty, juicy, delicious. Even the broccoli was special. The wine was perfect and the desert: I am lost for words!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
