The guys that work this truck are super nice and the food is awesome! I had the gyro plate with rice, salad and a pita. It's a ton of food, but SO good!!! Their homemade gyro sauce is awesome. Will stop here anytime I'm in NYC

I have been here before but went again. I ordered the Hercules chicken platter. It is simply the best. And there is so much food. Chicken, rice, fries, salad. I will probably try and go here anytime I go to NYC. It is that good.

As seen on IE, they sell a "lamb on rice platter" that isn't really lamb. We liked it, but guess we were fooled along with everyone else.

No one does it better. First off, the main man is awesome. Great guy. Works his tail off. Be prepared to wait in line- sometimes half a block. You are rewarded for your patience. Great food. Anything on the menu is good. Cannot go wrong. Wide selection of foods, salads, even burgers. I eat here almost daily.

My favorite is the chicken thigh over rice. It's a really good lunch special, always under $10 with drink. The tzatziki sauch is heavy on garlic but very good. All in all, you do not need to worry when trying this place. Very good, very reasonably priced, and a great lunch option.

These guys are great and the food is even better. Fresh. Well prepared. Tasty. Long lines. It's worth the wait, great food. Actually a pretty diverse menu as well! Eat here you will not be disappointed.

Anyone visiting New York City should pay a visit to Uncle Gussy's Greek food truck. Totally mouth watering, great value food. The best food we ate during our stay. The only disappointment is that he is not there on a Saturday or Sunday, otherwise we would have eaten there everyday. I've been to Greece many time, but have never had... More

I've eaten here more than a dozen times including today. It is the blue food truck on Park in Mid-town with (whenever the weather is reasonably warm) the long line down the block. Don't pass it up, it is totally worth the wait. Great prices and even better food. I always get either the Lamb Gyro or the Greek Salad... More

We could see Uncle Gussy's from our hotel, the Waldorf Astoria. Then it came on TV on the food network as a segment, so we went right down there. Food was warm, not extremely hot, but warm enough. The cart seems to be clean and workers were friendly. Must see while walking Park Avenue.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
