Some things were good - fruit salad, quiche and salad, limeade; some were not so good - carrot cake was small and very costly. The service was fine and it's a comfortable place to sit and talk.

Whether you crave an iced coffee or a meal, the menu offers a nice selection. Atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing with semi-classical music. Individual and community tables.

We used to enjoy relaxed light dinners here before concerts at Lincoln Center. This time management decided to only seat "complete" parties. So while tables stood empty a long line of unhappy people formed and eventually some folks started pushing ahead and taking those tables. Meanwhile the rest of us sheeple waiting to be seated just stared in amazement. After... More

Very welcoming, busy, restaurant with tasty food. Charming friendly staff but experience spoilt by terrible Chilean wine. To credit of waiter he deducted from bill.

Love the neighborhood. Across from Meg opera and my favorite fountains Quick affordable, delicious and creative lunch. Anything on a menu is a good choice. A bit understaff.

Le Pain Quotidien can be counted on to provide a quaint atmosphere and good food. It's quite good for brunch and it is also a good, out of the way, refuge for shoppers.

This chain has become as ubiquitous as Starbucks in Manhattan. the good thing is they all feel a bit unique, but not the menus. The food is good, not cheap and not overly generous. I liked it well enough to return

Service was off today - a bit slow..but our food was fabulous. We love the pastry items. I had the baked eggs. The Chicken soup was great - as is the avocado toast. HIGHLY recommended.

What I wrote two years ago is still valid.- Good soups, some warm dishes, but primarily salads and open face sandwiches al of which is ideal for a quick meal before a concert at Carnegie Hall. And if you can allow yourself to indulge, the pastries are very good. I should also mention that true to its name the breads... More
