Had a great meal on the last day here as it was opposite our hotel. Don't over look this place for eating. Although a British pub with British dishes available (Fish n Chips / Sausage & Mash) there were plenty of locals and tourists in. Good range of beers and wines available,

This place was kind of off the beaten track but a person with a sign advertising it was at the corner directing people there. We were so happy we went. It was lively but not too loud and the food was great!

It was raining so four of us girls ran into this little pub to have a salad and a beer and to get dried off. It was delightful! The staff was very friendly and helpful, it was clean and homey, the English beer was very good (I can't remember what it was called but the bartender will give you a... More

We chose this for our first NYC restaurant since we had a late flight and this was close to our hotel. The chicken pot pie was good and the beef pie was nice. Although beer isn't really what you would think of with this meal, we wanted to try the ale made especially for the restaurant and the chocolate stout.... More

This restaurant/bar has a fun atmosphere. It is a true British pub and offers delicious traditional pub food. My friend had a different take on a Shepard's Pie (I think it was an Ale pie) and absolutely loved it. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and cheddar mashed potatoes- it was out of this world. Would recommend to all!

Nothing wrong with the bar itself but the staff, one man in particular was so rude we left after one drink. In no other bar in New York were we asked to pay for our drinks before he had even put them on the bar! The atmosphere in the bar wasn't good, not like any other bar we visited in... More

This was the second visit to cock and bull. The first time I got the deviled agg and fish and chips. The deviled eggs were the best I ever tasted! This time around I got the beef pie and scotch egg. Again, I wasn't dissaponted! The service was fast and waitstaff were very pleasant. Will go back again for sure!

This is a very busy bar with a small eating area. They had the best Pot Pie I have ever eaten and others in our group had burgers that they also raved about. The staff was very attentive.

Loved the Cock and Bull! The food was excellent! I especially liked my Chicken pot pie! Remember this is a lot of food so I would share a couple of pot pies among a small group. Don’t forget to save room for the toffee pudding! Absolutely delicious! Our server, Keegan was excellent and his suggestion were spot on. Definitely one... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
