Scallywags in Hell's Kitchen is a great bar, good service (efficient) and was a bonus there was live music. Happy hours in this area are worth looking out for as great value.

Good Irish pub, great bartenders, and a nice local ale on tap. Live music at night on the weekends and a friendly bar crowd.

Popped in for a drink whilst having a walk and really enjoyed it. Staff were polite and engaging, drinks were about standard price (10 dollars for a beer and refillable coke) and plenty of sport on several TV's including baseball for the Americans but more importantly live premier league and champions league for us Brits needing a football (definitely not... Nice Irish place but without the usual 'Oirishness'. My wife said the Guinness tasted better than in Ireland! Staff to a man and a woman were friendly and so helpful. Same went for the customers. We were served by a lad called John from Galway and he couldn't do enough for us. Will surely be back.

Went in for a late bite to eat with my three children.we had basis pub fare and a drink each with the price being way over the top for what we got. No atmospheres and wouldn't go back near again.not a typical Irish pub.

This bar was a few minutes from our hotel so thought we would try it. Didn't like the atmosphere as soon as we walked in as there was a "wide boy" barking orders to the staff. We are Londoners of Irish parents and it was the worst Irish bar we have ever been to. Oh and it was happy hour... More

This pub was a short walk from our hotel and we enjoyed it so much we went three times during our 5 day stay! There house brews were very good, they also have a great selection of other beers as well as cocktails. There was live music each night and service was always fast and friendly. We never ate there,... More

Stopped at Scallywags after getting sick of looking for food, great choice, food was superb, can recommend the prawn cocktail, huge prawns, French onion soup, blackened salmon and sirloin steak all cooked to our liking, can't comment on pudding as we were both stuffed, on top of that our bill of 106 dollars was paid for by a guy who... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
