Went here on a Sunday after 3 PM. Missed the brunch crowd so ample seating but still half filled. Had the burger with an egg on it and I liked it. They used English muffins instead of buns which was different. The chips were a mix of plain and salt & vinegar. There was a drag show going on which... More

I was out with my cousin and we grabbed lunch here one afternoon. Not being too crazy about seafood, I had my doubts but I just took the risk and went for it. A great tip would be to book online because this place is mostly crowded. To start with, we had delightful appetisers which included Tuna Ahi Ranchers, Beet... More

Stopped in on our way back to the hotel. Hidden gem because of construction beside it. Corn bread was delish. I had the blackened fish tacos. They were great so was the service.

I enjoyed L&W. Having walked by many times, finally found an occasion to go. Oysters were very good. The shrimp cocktail was just okay. The Salmon Poke was quite nice and had a good kick. The Clam Chowder was a bit different and quite enjoyable. Highly recommend that. The crab cake bites were underwhelming. Decor is fun, all ocean themed.... More

My partner and I visited here for our last diner in NYC. The staff were very friendly and genuinely knew a lot about the food that they were serving. We had oysters to start (from different coasts) and also three sharing dishes. The lobster 'pigs in blankets' were amazing and went well with the truffle aioli. We also had the... More

L&W is a great little restaurant on 5th and 28th Street. Tis a little pricey, but the food is so delicious and well worth the cost. The staff are friendly and look quite happy to be there also.

We stumbled on this this one. The oysters were good. The service was great. All in, not the cheapest place but enjoyable.

The Prefix lunch opportunities in Midtown NYC are fabulous this holiday season. I wandered into L&W Oysters when I saw the $16 lunch. Since I do not eat oysters I was not expecting much. Not so! I went with prefix Clam chowder, Shrimp sandwich, beverage (beer and wine included) While the bread and chips (very good) was too much carb... More
