I have been going to Aquagrill for about 8 years and i am thrilled to report that not only is it still offer amazing seafood and service, I think it has actually gotten better - if that is possible! They have always had the best oysters in town (which is saying something in NYC!). A friend and I sat at... More

Really delightful restaurant. Great atmosphere with closely packed tables and a crowded bar. Obviously if you come here you should have the fish and it doesn't disappoint. We had the Tuna and a Halibut that was on the specials list. Sides of spinach and mushrooms completed the picture. All was delicious Good service apart from weak bread offering! Highly recommended

There are what seems like a million restuarants in NYC. Aquagrill is just a fabulaous spot that should be on your go to list. Always busy, it is a must to make a reservation. We ate on the "patio" this time around and Colby was our server. He couldn't have been nice or more personable. I got the grilled scallops.... More

We had a recent dinner at Aquagrill. When we first got seated we sat for a while with no welcome, no menus and no water. I called over a manager and after that, things improved dramatically. He kept an eye on our table throughout the evening and made sure we got the best service. We had ordered cod cakes but... More

I sat at the bar and the staff was great. The wild mushroom soup and scallops with risotto were excellent.

We made a reservation for this place for lunch - what would we do without people's reviews on TripAdvisor? I'm not an oyster eater, but there's plenty on the menu to choose from. I had the lobster sandwich which was perfect. Just a little spice to make it perfect. My husband had the grilled chicken breast and our friend had... More

Aquagrill is a very good seafood restaurant but a little too expensive for the experience that you have when dining. The staff, from greeter to bartenders to wait staff is, and there is no other way to say it, cold. No one makes an effort make one feel comfortable. I know it's Manhattan and it's hip to be blase but... More

I wish I could eat here weekly. Fish is always super fresh and portions are ample, but not large. Presentation is always excellent and flavor combinations are usually very pleasing. Oyster selection is excellent, often with more then 29 varieties. Their oyster selection can not be beat anywhere in the north east. All fish and meat selections are also available... More

For a nice evening meal we decided to try aquagrill and were pleasantly surprised, great seafood, excellent service and ambience. The host was making her rounds to all the tables greeting and chatting with everyone, nice touch. Reservations were held even though we were a little late and the place was full. Definetely will call back next time in the... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
