A local barman recommended this restaurant, we had a little bit of a wait for a table but the that's always a good sign. It felt like there were a lot of locals and so didn't feel touristy. The food was pretty good with decent...More

The place is full of locals and NYU students. Almost always a wait. Very friendly, blue collar type, bar clientele. Good pizza, pasta and full bar. All reasonably priced.

We came here with friends who have been here several times before. It was as delicious as they described. I didn’t have the pizza, mainly because after eating pizza every day for four days...I wanted to try something else. I had the meatball sandwich and...More

A diaspora New Yorker recommended this place to us. It's definitely a neighborhood place that you need to hunt out. The Pizza Diavola is different in that it is light with almost no cheese and definitely no sauce. The Arturo;s Fiesta was good too. The...More

We ordered two large pizzas, which were plenty big to share among four adults and one teenage boy. The pizza crusts were thin and flavorful and the toppings were plentiful, more abundant than pizzas in Italy but less than your typical American pizza. The pepperoni...More

We went here on a warm, summer night, and were seated outside. The pizza was just as nice as the breeze. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in the city!

We arrived around 7:30pm on a mid-week evening and Arturo's was packed. We were fortunate to be offered the only available table; other guests were being told that the wait time was 45 minutes or longer, depending upon the size of their group. The atmosphere...More

I'm a pizza snob. This place did not disappoint at all. We called ahead for a table and were seated promptly when we arrived at 6pm. The salads were fresh. The beers were cold. The overall vibe was awesome. Loved the piano player and friendly...More
