We were visiting from Ottawa Ontario with family. We wanted to party and enjoy our time in NYC and figured a boozy bottomless brunch would definetly add to the experience. We made a reservation luckily as the place was full as soon as the doors opened. The service was amazing!!! Thy never let your drink go empty, the food was... More

We were in NYC for the weekend and decided to try Agave in the Village. A few days before we arrived I made reservations for dinner for 4. Needless to say, we got distracted (hey we were in NYC) and needed to push back our reservation an hour. Even though it was a Sat night, they were more than happy... More

I never put 5 stars because I never think anything is perfect, however I feel like Agave deserve it after the bottomless brunch we had with them on Saturday. We were having a leaving brunch for 65 people and I had a lot of venues to choose from. Agave sounded the best and it had good reviews online. We had... More

I used to love this place for both food, the margaritas, and it has nice outdoor seating in warmer weather, great for people watching, but my last two visits were mediocre and disappointing. Service was slow, drink orders were slow, food was delayed and barely warm, and the margaritas were more ice than margarita, and not good anyway, server just... More

Been here two times - once for a bachelorette and once with a large group. The back room is great for big parties. Margarita pitchers are awesome !

Quality food and good service. Restaurant was completely empty when we got there about 6pm and only one other table added by 7pm. Bar with happy hour was more full. Seems the locals don't see the value for dinner and I'd agree. Food was well done but nothing special. I have a general rule to avoid Mexican food in NYC... More

I'm from Ireland and when it says 2 hours brunch I thought it would be two hours. We had a 2pm booking arrived at 1.55pm and were eventually seated and served our first drink at 2.25pm. Then at 3.45 the waiter came over and served us our last drink. So really it's not a 2hour brunch! Disappointing. Food was fab... More

They seriously know how to do a boozy brunch - with refills coming before you even finish your first mimosa. We went on a Friday morning (not a long weekend) and it was just opening (11am reservation). We were a bit disappointed to have to walk in to an empty restaurant (we wanted a lively boozy brunch after all!). But... More

Our second visit to the restaurant reccomended for many things including its 'boozy brunch'. Unlimited cocktails or wine (from a small selection for two hours) are complimented by a mostly egg influenced entree. Certainly a trendy place, but without a prohibitive air of prevention. Food is great and added to by the general vibe and attentive staff

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
