Absolutely nothing to complain about here! Cool vibe. Traveled to NYC with a buddy and stayed at The Jane Hotel. This little place was just around the corner and fit the bill for a really, really friendly place to hang out and not get taken on the price of beers. We went back and forth a few times as we... The food was terrific as were the margaritas. They give you huge portions. Very loud, lots of younger crowd. Bit of a wait but worth it.

It really wouldn't make it in the Southwest. We were looking for a quick spot after seeing the Rolling Stones exhibit, and one of the staff there recommended Tortilla Flats. Sizewise, it's pretty much a hole in the wall. We were there at a relaxed time, when not every table was filled, but the staff still made each customer wait... More

Went to the place on margarita Monday. Good was good. Our waitress was amazing. Had a lot of fun. Also funny was bingo. Keep mind of the special rules.

We were looking for a place for a snack and beverage before we went to the Rolling Stones Exhibit. Lucky for us, Tortilla Flats was right across the street and had just what we were looking for. We had some margaritas, beers, and shared a plate of chicken nachos to share for a light snack. The four if us thought... More

Stopped in for dinner with co-workers, we all enjoyed our food and drinks. We all shared guacamole and chile con queso with chips. A treat to find chile con queso on the menu. I enjoyed sangria and the fajita salad for dinner. Fun vibe in the restaurant which hints closer to a dive bar. We hung out in the booth... More

Awesome Mex food with super friendly wait staff, topped with festive atmosphere. Where else would you want to spend your snowy/slushy brunch?

We were initially intrigued and entertained by the festive decor when we entered, but then sat towards the back near a rather bizarre Elvis wall. While the margaritas were delicious, the cost of a pitcher was prohibitive; the service was erratic and seemed unorganized, the order didn't come out together and parts were missed, and the food was fair. Not... More

This is a small restaurant next Industria. It looked a little sketchy from the outside but the portrait of Our Lady of Guadaloupe at the entrance eased our trepidation enough that we went in. I thank the Blessed Mother for our decision. The food was cheap, bountiful and damned good. The service was excellent, the Margaritas potent and delicious, the... More

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
