Dinner on Thursday evening the place was packed as usual. Wonderful ambience, excellent service and great food make Raoul's a classic favorite NYC restaurant. Its best to make a reservation and if you have to wait the bar is terrific.

Best French Bistro you ask? Yes, without question. I've been going to Raoul's for more than 30 years and when it comes to French Bistro's in New York RAOUL'S heads the top of the list. Not that it has the best french Food in New York, no there are a couple others that probably have it beat. But if you're... More

I did a little research on where to find the best burger in NYC and it was unanimous that Raoul’s was THE PLACE to go. The 42 year old restaurant was hopping on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated at a cozy booth in the back. We told them we came for the burgers and our waiter said that they... More

Packed brunch scene... It's no ordinary brunch either... Oysters steak Tatar followed by the au poivre burger and steak and eggs so good... It's small intimate and has a great crowd. Good service and staff were engaging Patricia is a star.. You should also try dinner..

This old standard is still the place to go for some good comfort food. All the dishes among our group of four were tasty. However, if you are looking for a place to have a quiet conversation, look elsewhere. This place is loud and energetic.

Cozy yet buzzing neighborhood restaurant with great French flair. Had dinner with my wife and mid-20's son. Very quickly became friendly with neighboring diners and felt right at home. Terrific menu. Enjoyed big eyed tuna and pate as appetizers then steak au poivre for dinner. We all loved it and will go back soon.

Very cozy French Restaurant, nice decoration and paintings (Worth visiting if you wanna grab a drink here). I love the place since I live in Soho, and it could be a great brunch place before or after shopping run

Raoul's is one of those Restaurants that you either love instantly or it will probably leave you disappointed. It is no accident that Raoul's is a very busy Restaurant; you may wait a while for your reservation. Elbow to elbow tables are set to purposely pack it in. It is deliberately excessive... it seem to scream in your face: "I'm... More

Ate dinner with my husband on a Friday night in mid-January. The restaurant is vibrant with an interesting and eclectic atmosphere. I ordered a fish entrée and my husband ordered pork. Both were enjoyable. Dessert of bread pudding was a little bland. Raouls is busy and the tables are very close together, so hopefully you are not offended by your... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
