A cute bohemian café and 40 year resident of Greenwich Village w/ a rotating art exhibit makes this a fun and quirky place to visit. There are lots of New York history here. The restaurant is nice with outdoor seating and a jazz club in...More

Had dinner and lunch there last week. Both were excellent. Very laid back place, were able to sit outside. Pleasant staff, good wines (tho expensive) and good food! Definately will be back!

This is a great little spot with good service and great food. There is terrace seating, and when the weather permits, the windows open right up -- so you can eat al fresco indoors! Great menu and reasonably priced. Recommended!

Fortunately we were able to get a table at short notice. Friendly greeting on arrival and prompt drinks service left us in a good frame of mind when the food arrived and it did not disappoint. Sesame crusted salmon was a delight and monkfish even...More

Great food and service. Small dining room but has outside seating. Nice presentation of food. If you go ask for Kris to be your server.

We sat outside on a lovely spring night and enjoyed both the food (one salmon, one orecchiette) and the passing parade. The service was efficient and friendly.

A classic village institution We were there for both a weekday dinner and a breakfast the next day. We began with an almost unsolvable problem with the key for the air bnb. The owner and staff were more than exceedingly helpful, patient and friendly in...More

One of my favourite eateries in the village. Lovely food and drink at reasonable prices, the downstairs venue offers all sorts of shows, and the craic is always excellent. Robin has put his heart and soul into this place over many years and its an...More

We ordered the BLT and burger. Both were delicious! For the BLT, the bacon was perfect, bread lightly toasted, not too much mayonnaise- just right. Burger was succulent and juicy. Side salad was fresh. Only thing I didn't like that much was the Bloody Mary....More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

In 1987, on its tenth anniversary, New York City proclaimed Cornelia Street Cafe "A CULINARY AS WELL AS A CULTURAL LANDMARK." Founded by three artists, it provides food for the soul as well as the body. Upstairs there are three dining rooms, a beautiful hundred-year-old oak bar, a sidewalk cafe on one of New York's most picturesque streets, and a wood-burning fireplace for the winter. The cafe has received numerous awards for its food: Time Out's TOP 100 RESTAURANTS; the Village Voice's BEST OF NEW YORK FOOD; and a special award from the Village Arts Society for INSPIRED CUISINE. Most recently it received the Waterford Crystal Award of Distinction for BEST BY-THE-GLASS WINE PROGRAM--there are more than thirty wines available by the glass. Downstairs (honored with Zagat Nightlife's Award of Distinction) there are more than 700 performances a year. RESERVATIONS ARE FOR DINING UPSTAIRS. RESERVATIONS FOR THE DOWNSTAIRS CABARET CANNOT BE MADE ONLINE.
