This was a very charming French bistro found in the middle of the meatpacking district. I love the whole area due to the cobbled streets and trendy eateries nearby. What I didn't love was trying to get a cab home from here during the early...More

I came here for brunch with a friend on a Sunday morning with 3 friends and we got seated without waiting (usually we wait 30-40 minutes in better places)... The service was just pushy, almost rude and terrible. Our waitress never came over to fill...More

Pastis has become a tradition when I go to New York. It is great for lunch and dinner. But our favorite like to go is in the mid afternoon. It is not as busy then and is the perfect break in the middle of a...More

It's not about the celebs at the next table, and it's not about the high tech gastro creations, it's about the ' mood & the food'. Cobbled streets lead to this tiled temple to Franco/American cuisine. Step inside and breath in the atmosphere. Great oysters,mussels,...More

Pastis is our Petit Dej place in NYC. It has all the charm of a french bistrot together with the coolness of NYC. Sizes are very generous and the Salmon or the omelettes are fantastic. Even the Cappuccino is good....

I'm told pastis is somewhat of a meatpacking institution, and it's easy to see why it enjoys that reputation. Classic french food executed well, with a touch of new york hipster service. Great brunch!

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

Pastis is a French bistro located in Manhattan's meatpacking district opened by Keith McNally. Executive Chef Pascal Le Seac'h prepares a menu that combines hearty Provencal dishes with moderately-priced bistro fare. The bar serves a range of house cocktails, wines by the glass, carafe or bottle, and several varieties of pastis, an anise-flavored aperitif from the south of France.
