My wife and I ate in Aureole's more casual section last week, before a show. Our food was very good. I started with the mustard greens salad, very good with a nice garlicky flavor. My wife's salad was also very tasty. And for a main...More

We ere treated well here.....very good quality food presented nicely. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant. We had a nice dinner here and even met the chef (Charlie Palmer) who introduced himself. Appropriately priced. Also, very extensive wine selection. If you like interesting wines, there...More

We had visited Aureole once before, at their previous location (The Old Fire House) a few years previously. It was a stunning experience and became the benchmark by which we rated every other restaurant we visited - unfair perhaps, but that's life I guess! This...More

Bright, airy, Michelin-starred Times Sq restaurant with welcoming staff and competent, but not outstanding food. The shrimp appetizer was a bit squishy, the tile fish somewhat bland, ditto on the fluke appetizer, and the decidedly unchocolatey chocolate dessert. The cacio e pepe was more mushroomy...More

We had an early dinner before the show. We told the waiter our time frame. He told us it would not be an issue. Although the waiter did not rush us, he kept the dinner moving. We had a wonderful dinner that ended with just...More

We went there for our 25th anniversary celebration. The entire experience was fantastic! The dining room is very comfortable for intimate conversation while the bar is vibrant. We order the prefix and the Sommelier suggested a bottle of Burgundy that was just right. We were...More

While visiting NYC for a birthday weekend we chose Aureole for dinner for a plethora of reasons (Charlie Palmer's menu, short walk to the theater, favorable reviews) and we were not disappointed. We arrived at our reserved time and were seated promptly. Both the restaurant...More

We got bumped from another high end restaurant because a client bought out the dining room for an event. Thus that restaurant recommended Charlie Palmer's Aureole. Service was impeccable with multiple waiters attending to every detail and making sure we got out in time for...More

In my opinion, their Michelin star says more about Michelin than the restaurant. One of the plates on the table was slightly dirty. Our drink orders were taken when we originally were seated. I requested my wine to be served with the first course. About...More

Hi, I've never seen a gluten-free menu or any dishes that denoted as such in their dining room, but then I've never asked. Play it safe and call them directly.

Aureole, New York is the flagship showcase for Charlie Palmer's unabashed, energetic signature Progressive American cuisine. Now under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Gabriele Carpentieri, the kitchen turns out elegant, simple dishes with sharply focused flavors like Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with crispy shiitake, scallions, taro root, ponzu and lavash cracker.

Aureole is located within the spectacular Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, the most environmentally advanced skyscraper in the world. Offering a range of dining options, the Liberty Room is smart and casual with walnut-topped tables and a back-lit, etched glass front bar with polished natural zinc top surface, the intimate Dining Room is designed in both lighting and texture to give off a golden glow, and The Halo Private Dining Room is wrapped with fabric panel and silver leaf walls, dotted with sculptural back-lit flame sconces. Now in its 29th year, Aureole is contemporary urban elegance.
