This is a really good fish - sushi restaurant - wines & drinks good - not cheap - maki roll assortment has declined and less available that are not "spicy" but still a favorite if in the area and budget not constricted Go !

I have been to Atlantic Grill for dinner as well as the Sunday brunch. This particular Sunday we arrived a little early for our reservation one of the maitre d's (I asked for his name), Danny, greeted me at the front desk and told me in a very matter-of-fact (somewhat unfriendly) way that our table would not be available until... The Atlantic Grill is a seafood restaurant, but as the waiter says, "We have a terrific burger." It's true, from sushi (excellent) to dorado to burgers, everything is very flavorful. Event the apple tart was a better-than-expected surprise. Coffee was rich, flavorful, and hot. Well done in terms of the quality of food. The bread on the table was only... More

Had a 6:00 reservation for Valentine's Day. Was greeted warmly and quickly seated. Asked for a different table and warmly accommodated. Waiter came quickly to explain the Valentine's menu and take drinks order. He was very friendly and smiled. We ordered the shrimp dumplings that were excellent and shareable. I ordered the blackened swordfish that was excellent. My companion had... More

Close to Central Park for a nice summer spot or even in the winter for a great meal and good service. In the summer it's nice because they have outdoor seating

This is a great place to have some simple and tasty food. It is best to sit outside as this restaurant is always busy and gets loud. Whilst the food is not adventurous, the fish is fresh and dishes are authentic. Service is good.

Went here for an awkward family dinner. Wish we had a better table...didnt really understand why they sat us where they did. Anyway Service was good We had a seafood tower. The ceviche was nice but otherwise the tower wasn't anything really special. But well are any of them? Ever? Unless you are next to the Mediterranean I would just... More

Very nice restaurant, but a bit noisy for dinner. Very crowded tonight but good, efficient service. Our dinners were good and presented well, but totally overpriced for what you get. I know its NYC and the real estate is expensive and all, but the small portions are pitiful. My beet salad may have had a total of a half of... More

Stopped in for a drink to get out of the cold. Delightful charming lady bar tender was a big plus. Had only appetizers but they were all very good. Will try dinner there in the future.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
