This little gem is located in the Gramarcy/Flatiron district hidden on E. 22nd. Our service was excellent. Somewhat small dining room with maybe 18 tables. The appetizers were outstanding, the entrée's were quite good but despite other reviews, the pasta dishes were disappointing. In particular I am a fan of Papperdelle with either Lamb or Duck Ragu. I was thrilled... More

An amazing dinner experience - and we were especially impressed by the little touches and attention to detail. We were made to feel at home!

If you are looking for a place to take someone special for dinner, look no further. This quiet little restaurant on 22nd street is just right for a cozy, romantic encounter. Whether a birthday, anniversary or a first date, this is the place to go. Both the food and service were top notch, and very impressive. The decor is nice,... More

We ate there two years ago and it was all around wonderful. Last night, our waiter was the only positive. The food was really awful and if we hadn't been as hungry as we were I would have sent it back. The pasta dish my son had (papardelle w lamb ragout) was clearly microwaved and just a damp, dark steaming... More

Novita: Very tasty selection of appetizers and entrees. I came here with a group and everyone enjoyed it a lot; will come back. Fine service and atmosphere. Terrific coffee at end of meal. Not cheap, but then nothing in NYC is!

This is a very nice place. The food is simply outstanding. Without a doubt I'd say this is the best pasta in New York. Service is excellent and the wine list accompanies well the food offer. The ceiling of the restaurant is a bit low so the place can be noisy at times.

Took a trip up from Philadelphia for all the Xmas festivities. Dinner here last week was fantastic. The asparagus gratin appetizer was a bit underwhelming, but the rest of the meal was amazing. And the service from Gianmaria was impeccable. We will DEFINITELY return the next time we visit NYC.

Have enjoyed meals here before but disappointed with most recent visit. Asparagus appetizer was literally a plate of asparagus with some cheese on it Had veal cutlet Milanese which should be a nobrainer but it was without any flavor and hard to tell in the dark restaurant but seemed like it wasn't cooked thoroughly. Desserts were uninspiring and the ice... More

My wife and I usually grab a sandwich or lighter lunch, but what the hey, it was raining and we were on our way to the spectacular photography exhibit at the university gallery a block away. This is a very nice restaurant. Great decor. Very helpful and friendly waiters. Very good food. We had the pesto pasta and the clam... More

It was once said in a New York Times review that this restaurant in most cities would unquestionably be the best in that city. In New York because of the thousands of restaurants it is not a name that is recognized easily. However there is no question that it is among New York's best restaurants. It is a very comfortable...
