Schnitzle as shingle. About 5 minutes less time in the frier would have been nice. Spätzle was gummy and dense. Beer was $13. Cake tasted of the refrigerator. The potato pancakes were good. I've walked by Rolf's for over 2 decades and never went in....More

Very crowded but a great pit stop when touring NYC during the holidays. Stop in to check out the Christmas decorations and enjoy a glass of schnapps. If you are going just for a drink, they won't let you sit at a table unless you...More

In the past, during the 80's, this was my favorite German restaurant, a quaint bar like restaurant on Second Ave in NYC. This last July was my first visit since the 80's and I'm surprised they're even in business by the food we were served....More

Truly great German food and beer. The decor is astonishing, in a good way. A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

I used to come to Rolf's a lot, but have not been for some time. It is decorated so beautifully. But the prices have almost doubled. Bratwurst for $25, that is insane. Plus I feel the quality of the food has changed. Will not be...More

I was impressed for about ten seconds - as the picture shows, there are tons of twinkling lights so you feel like you were shrunk and are living inside of a Christmas tree. We stopped in for drinks and lunch. We did not have a...More

We went to Rolfs to have a few drinks on a Friday. They have a nice little drink selection to chose from. We sat at the bar, the service and the drink selection was nice. The decorations really made our time there fun. I don't...More

Entering such a great looking and cozy place, you'd never expect waitresses spilling tea on the table cloth without expressing any regret or fixing it, not being able to adequately place a small bread plate without bread falling out, or standing beside bar counter swearing...More

Absolutely if you want dinner or to eat. If you want just a drink and to see the magnificent decorations then you'll just have to push your way up to the bar and stand amongst the revellers.
