Happily stumbled upon this and pleased to have fresh, delicious vegetarian food readily available. Plenty of options to choose from, including gluten free. Food quality was great, very fresh, made to order. All in our party enjoyed the food, especially considering the price (cheap!!).

If you ever want a great bowl of soup, this is the place to go. There are a few restaurants in a row on Baxter and this one was the one we picked because it looked like the owners cared about their place. I ordered soup #9 and my husband ordered #10: Hot, delicious, full of flavor, good quality ingredients... More

We went there by mistake instead of going to the Restaurant next door. Everything was a joke. The food the service....you name it. One example: we made the mistake to order the steamed whole fish. They brought us a fish that was deep fried at some point in the past and then conveniently steamed for us. When we complained they... More

Good food at a great price and service was spot on. On a cold day the pho soup is definitely recommend in the warm toast restuarant.

We went Chinatown to walk around and decided to have lunch, we went to Thai Son based on reviews. Food was great, staff was friendly, soup on menu #57A is excellent.

We went here yesterday and it was really good. The restaurant was really busy but we were sat within 5 minutes. We were given some tea and time to look over the menu which you need as there is so much choice. The food tasted lovely but my chicken curry could of done with being hotter but a lovely dish... The $7.50 Pho was the real draw here. We struggle to find good PHO in NYC, so we thought we'd give this place a try. It was nothing more than O.K. Big portions & we were full, but the chicken in the Pho Ga was rough and hard to swallow. Broth didn't have that authentic cinnamon flavor that's essential. Boyfriend... More

Been there today and had Vietnamese Springrolls for starters and two different main courses with grilled beef and pork. The food was really delicious! Beer only 4.25$.... great price for NY as well!

Ordering looked easy but reality filled the small table with more food than a or all team could eat... Beautiful flavours and quality, just ask about what and how much.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
