We took our son for his birthday dinner to Morton's in NYC. It was our first time at Morton's and it didn't disappoint. Our son loves a good steak, and we typically broil prime cut steaks at home. We've been disappointed at other restaurants we've tried, so we were hoping for the best at Morton's. We ordered the New York... More

I know very well the Morton's. I have been to a few branches in the US and around the world. I was very satisfied and for that reason while visiting in NY we had dinner at the Morton's. i gave up a very famous stake house which i like for the Morton's. Unfortunately i was very disappointed. the porterhouse i... More

I ordered the aged prime 24-ounce porterhouse and pronounced it perfect. Dining in the subterranean, mahogany-accented dining room is a trip back in time. If only to enjoy hovering servers, celebrate a nonessential event with great fanfare, and eat iceberg lettuce topped with the best Thousand Island salad dressing in New York City (and dare I say, the country?). You... More

The price is high, but the atmosphere is great! We also got a really good wine-recomendation, and the service is fantastic!

It was restaurant week , I felt easier to go there by myself. Very good atmospere inside, and the staff came to me quickly at the entrance from first . I have an experience that I felt discrimination so so much at Wolfgang's in Midtown , forced to be waited too too much time to get order .The waiters were talking... More

I came here with such high hopes, with two new business friends. From the very beginning, it was disappointing, with a server who was really quite aggressive - when we asked the size of each type of steak, he told us to read the menu rather than explain himself - and with a rather cold and unfriendly atmosphere. The food... More

Myself and my mum wanted a nice restaurant that served steak. We ordered a 6oz Fillet Mignon medium. Together with mushrooms and spinach side. I have to say I have never tasted meat like it. It was the best cut of meat I have ever had and was full of flavour which fillet sometimes lacks. I have been to many... More

My coworker and I decided to come here for lunch and ordered the warm steak salad and a filet mignon entree with fries. While the food was delicious, our waiter kept ignoring us even though the restaurant was not crowded. He kept forgetting to get us wine, left us waiting for the check for a good 30 minutes. We had... A lovely restaurant with beautiful food and good service. We had the best steak we have ever eaten. It has a fantastic bar to sit and have pre-dinner drinks. A huge selection of wine to choose from. However, it is very expensive in our eyes. May not be so for a local. Great for a treat though and would appear... More

We went here mid week without reservation and were seated right away. It happened to be there during Restaurant week and got a great deal on dinner. It was $42 for three courses with some small upgrade charges on some items. French onion soup was very good with lots of cheese and onions. I got a 6oz filet which was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
