We went for the first time to this restaurant couple of days ago, and if you appreciate your time and money I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Ambiance and decoration very poor, bad service, bad food quality and very expensive. 1) Food: Extremely poor quality overall. Everything that we ordered was tasteless. Also, we ordered the “ravioli di zucca all... More

My friend and I came to talk and eat, in that order. Usually noise levels preclude the talking part, but here it was actually possible. Nice positioning of tables - not too close to each other. The North Italian food was excellent. The bread very good, and the Italian wines not too young. The service was helpful and unintrusive. We... More

Our family of 4 dined here on a quiet Sunday night. The restaurant is lovely, very tastefully decorated. We shared the arancini and brussel sprouts to begin. The arancini was superb - very rich. It was not served with sauce - bit it didn't need any The brussel sprouts were very good.. We all had different pasta dishes for our main... More

Vice Versa has the opportunity and cuisine to be extraordinary and create dining experiences. Because of the proximity to the Theater District, the chef, the wait staff and the experience all felt rushed. The 1st and 2nd courses were good, and a good value, so I would recommend to a friend pre-theatre. But if the restaurant has ambition to go... More

this is one of the best kept secret to go to before or after a show. its location is "wicked" good! they also have a great Sunday brunch if you are looking for a nice place before a Sunday Mat. the main room has great acoustics so the noise is light, and you can hear your guest. the main room... I have eaten at this place many times and never had anything less than a fine meal. Last Sunday I went in more than a half hour before posted closing and was turned away, told they were closed. People were still eating, and I wasn't coming in 5 minutes before closing. I voiced my disappointment that I was being turned... More

We were looking for fine dining for our 33rd wedding anniversary. My wife made the best food choices; the arancini were full of flavor and the veal cutlets with prosciutto, parmigiana and truffles also excellent. My rabbit appetizer was lacking flavor and the papardelle with venison was very good, although I could not taste the chestnut in the pasta. The... More

This was our second time eating at ViceVersa and we had another excellent experience. Food was wonderful and service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The holiday decorations were still up and added a touch of festivity to counter the cold weather that night. Two of of us did the very reasonable prix fixe and had delicious beef short... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
