Not sure what I was expecting, but it was really good. Great bread, crab cakes fabulous. A pasta with chicken pretty classic. For the theater, as always, a great choice.

Really lovely venue surrounded by iconic drawings of famous actors overlooking you as you dine on excellent food. Really, what could be better? Truly fabulous. Can't wait to return for delicious food, excellent service, and iconic fun at a tradition in midtown after the theater.

We enjoyed our trip to Sardi's. Signed photos on the wall and a little star watching added to good food at reasonable New York prices. And the food was good too. Really liked the tiramisu cake and the salmon appetizer as well.

Sadri's is always a good choice pre or post a Broadway show. Who cannot enjoy looking at all the caricatures on the walls or dining at a landmark restaurant. I must say I miss the days when everyone in there was dressed elegantly but this is part of our casual society now, so a jacket and tie are not required.... More

We went spur of the moment after seeing Anastasia, and I was really surprised we were seated so quickly. The food was fine (honestly the bread was the best part), but you are definitely going for the experience. The legendary portraits are worth seeing. The upstairs bar seemed to be "the place to be", but I'm fairly certain we weren't... More

Inside the same as many years ago but not too many New Yorkers in attendance when I went for dinner. Cannelloni not as great as I remembered. Convenient to theaters.

We have eaten here before, and continue to return for the ambience, the service, and the food. Always such a pleasant experience. Sometimes table linens and attentive service is just what you need! The food is always excellent, with attention to detail. I hope it never goes away...

So, we did a NYC Broadway night and picked up dinner through our tele-charge agent for $55 dollars a person. Seemed like a bargain so we paid and 6 weeks later showed up for dinner after our play. Walked in at 5:10, 20 minutes early for our reservation and they seated us right away. The only issue was we were... More

Misses Johnny and I love this place. The Cannelloni Au Gratin is absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect for the Theatre. Definitely make a reservation if you are going to a show. The charactures on the walls are very entertaining and have been collected for many years. There was a local artist who agreed to supply one a month in... More

I had the pleasure of a post theater experience at Sardi's with some great people. What made it special was we ordered lots of things to share. Unforgettable as always is the Steak Tartar. What a treat. Great combo of flavors. This should not be missed. We had Endive Salad that was tops of any I have ever had. Crab... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
