From the outside, Uncle Nick's doesn't look like much, but walk in and you receive a warm welcome, well-prepared Greek food and thoughtful service. The menu was extensive, with a number of vegetarian options. The servings were generous and moderately priced. As it turned out,...More

Welcoming atmosphere with ample service, best feta cheese ever on salads, great pita, very big selection of fish entrees and incredible baklava. I have been here before and am already looking forward to my next visit. Reasonable prices for this neighborhood.

We ordered the four dips combo. The generous portions of tzatzki, tarma, eggplant and scordatia were nicely divided by tomato slices and served with warm pita. Usually when you get a combo, one of them disappoints, but not this time. All were good. The price...More

If you like Greek food, this is an okay place for a quiet lunch. It was pretty empty when we were there on a recent Saturday afternoon. The moussaka was fairly good with accompaniments of rice and salad. Since the moussaka had potatoes in it,...More

Top notch Greek comfort food. Was here for a buisniess meeting and the food sealed the deal! Started with the three dips combo served with warm pita bread, the moved on to a very large Greek country salad. Very fresh! For our main we shared...More

If you want really good basic Greek food like someone's grandmother makes, look no further. Little ambience. Just good cheap food.

We try to make it to Uncle Nick's every time that we are in town. We often get the Saganaki-Tiri (Tony's Flaming Cheese)-fun to see the delivery and tastes great. We never skip the Maroulosalata Salad-so crisp and fresh! The atmosphere is great, tables are...More

We were heartily welcomed as we walked in the door and every single staff member that we encountered made us feel like we were a special guest, personally invited to their table. We weren't well versed in Greek cuisine so our waiter was very patient...More

Description
Looking for a fresh catch on the West Side? Discover Uncle Nick’s! He was one of the first in the 80’s to bring fresh, moderately priced Greek food to Manhattan, in family-size portions, and he’s been there ever since! We’re not fancy, we don’t dim the lights and our dishes are made to eat, not admire – but when you’re in the mood for a friendly, festive meal – with lots of laughter, good spirits, and generous portions of hearty, Greek cooking, Uncle Nick’s is the place for you.
