Went here for the first time this past October and it has definitely become one of the regular restaurants I will visit every time I'm in NYC. Loved the atmosphere as we sat in their beautiful patio. We felt like we were having dinner in...More

I would like to start by saying, I have thought about what would be most helpful in my review of this particular restaurant. First, I want to say, during my week stay in Manhattan, my friend and I tried many different cuisines from different cultural...More

BARBETTA is possibly the cutest little oasis in midtown you'll find. It is rather expensive, so do this when you would like a treat surrounded by trees and flowers! Set in an old fashioned house, you can choose to dine indoors or out - we...More

Our group of about 15 had reservations in private room for dinner before heading to Come From Away. They were able to serve us all drinks and multiple courses before heading out to our show. They were good at keeping us on track for time...More

We came here last night for supper before Hamilton, the musical. This place is “old school” and our host was wonderful - a real gentleman! I would give our experience a “5” but our food was average. Our minestrone soup was good, but no one...More

Our 2nd time here, classic Italian with excellent service and a wonderful garden out the back. Not cheap but very little is post-brexit!

We first discovered this restaurant several years ago, and return occasionally when we come to the city for shows. We've never been disappointed in the food or the service. It was warm enough (in November) to eat in the garden, which is always pleasant. The...More

We ate at Barbetta on the advice of NYC friends. It's an old-fashioned traditional restaurant. Service was adequate, food was average. We were hoping for a special meal but it seems stuck in the past and needs some fresh ideas.

We were in a rush to catch a broadway show. So we requested for the bill even before we were done with desserts. After paying the bill and leaving a good tip, the waiter pretended not to see us when we raised our hands to...More

Price doesn't match with the quality. I had antipasti plate, which was ok, but nothing special. For the main course I took rabbit, which was bad and didn't taste good in my mouth. The recommended wine helped a bit. The place itself looks nice and...More

It is a very nice restaurant so I wouldn't go too casual-no jeans/t shirts. It's always nice to show respect for yourselves and the venue by looking good.
