This is a kosher steak house. The nice thing is that it is open late on Saturday night so one can get dinner after a broadway show - it is in the theater district. The bad thing is that the steaks are only so-so and there is not much ambience. It might be worth a stop one time to see... More

A French steak house that is kosher? Yup and they do an excellent job. The bar is stocked, the wine list well done, and their menu after being there many times I can't find a dish wether appetizer or main all are excellent. Smack dab I. The middle of the greatest city in the world, great for business family or... More

There are better Kosher Restaurants in Manhattan. The prices here are high (as in most Kosher placed). Nothing exciting. The steak and potatoes was tough and the potatoes very good. Paillard (chicken) was not very tender and a little overcooked. The sorbet was the best part of the meal.

First time we went, we saw Lady Gaga! The food is amazing-all fish food-and so are desserts. A bit expensive but well worth it.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch before s show. It looked like steak was the way to go here, and that's what we both chose. I had the steak au poivre which was tender, juicy, well seasoned. The steak comes with a nicely dressed green salad and some addictive fries. My friend chose the steak medallions with mustard... More

Had a great mill; steaks were cooked perfectly. Same old menu but good quality. I do suggest to update the salad that comes with the the steaks.

Again had a great meal. Steak was cooked perfectly. Fries are good too. It was however impossible to have a conversation as it was so noisy.

We had the Sunday Bruch special and it was great. The soup was a wonderful lentil with a hint of fennel flavor. The steak was great! Good service and a basket of French style pastries that were delicious.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
