Having been to Yasuda in Tokyo we were excited to try Mitsuru san’s omakase. He definitely did not disappoint; in fact we enjoyed it even more than Yasuda in Tokyo. The omakase meal was more generous than in Tokyo and of better value. The only...More

Thanks Sushi Yasuda, and specifically sushi chef Mitsu-san, for the best Omakase I ever experienced. Both ingredients and preparation quality are kept very high, and the chef’s service is always with a smile. Will certainly be back, Lior Haber.

Sushi Yasuda is a high-end sushi restaurant not far from Grand Central. It has a very clean and simple look of light stained wood and well-lit. This restaurant is designed more for the foodie looking for a sushi experience rather than and as such the...More

This was the freshest and most simple and clean amazing sushi for me so far in the city. The wait staff walks around with hot green tea constantly - hot towels for your fingertips - the shrimp tempura was over the top - as well...More

Probably the worst experience we have had in New York. I had high expectations, we went with the omakase (chef's choice). It was so boring and unimaginative. The sushi at best was average, nothing you can't find in your local neighborhood place. For about twenty...More
