We visited Pax Wholesale Foods after a Broadway show, and I must tell you it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. It does not look very nice outside and inside, but their pizza are VERY GOOD, come in BIG slices and are unexpensive..I mean, less than 9 dollars for 2 slices...come on.

Came here for lunch (excellent chopped salad), breakfast and over a couple of coffee breaks during a three-day workshop I attended nearby. Fast, friendly service and good food. A credit to NYC!

We went to Pax for lunch yesterday. We ordered the Corny Shrimp Salad. You get to chose the greens and they toss the salad for you. We also ordered a Thai Chicken Quinoa bowl and the Mediterranean Quinoa Bowl. The food was fresh and healthy, we could not finish the meal as it was too much for the three of... More

Excellent location. Scrumptious food. Their clear chicken + vegetable soup and chicken + rice soup are really good as are their Pizzas. You can order by slice. My personal favorites are Meat Lovers, Pepperoni + Vegetable and Pepperoni pizza. There is a different soup for each day. They also have salads and sandwiches. Loved their food and would whole definitely... More

The eggplant parmesan panini is amazing. When I was pregnant I wanted it every day. The extra sauce cup made it even better. Sit in Bryant Park and enjoy it. Roomy with lots of cashiers so you don't have to wait too long.

Had the omelette plate, guy missed the toast and only reluctantly added the bacon I'd paid for. Fast is the only real qualifier for this place (the one on 6th and 35th).

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
