I had spicy miso ramen at this restaurant the other day and had an excellent time with friends due to the prompt service, quality food, and inexpensive price point. I'll definitely by coming back again.

Everything here taste so good. They taste fresh. And that, I think is the first step in good food. We ordered a number of thing. First, the skewers - chicken and chicken skin. Chicken was juicy and the chicken skin is crispy and soft. It would have been better a little crispier but the taste was enjoyable. Second dish, gyoza... More

So tasty, beautiful and clean inside the restaurant. There is various type of lunch menu. When I arrived and stopped at the entrance, the staff came to me quickly with warm smile.

Perfect place for a cold day. Go for the Ramen, huge portions and really well prepared. I could eat there every day, and I sometimes do....

Yass to a local ramen spot where you don't have to wait forever and a day for a seat! I really enjoy the hakata and shio ramens - depending on how I'm feeling that day. It's a good portion size and I end up drinking most of the tasty broth. Always a good stop for a chilly day. Also love... More

There are a lot of places to grab a good bowl of ramen in NYC now. But this place delivered simple truly authentic Japanese. The greeting and farewells, the choices of Japanese brand drinks, the simple broth options. Good flavor without being flashy. The only reason I did not rate it as perfect is because I think the decor could... More

Ise Japanese restaurant used to be my go-to Japanese restaurant in New York City for years. Nothing fancy but always reliable authentic Japanese dishes at not so expensive prices -until yesterday. I was so shocked at the abrupt drop in quality and there was nothing authentic about the food. At least a part of management along with cooks and waiters... More

I've been here twice in the last month or so. The first time as a couple, we both had ramen and also split an appetizer of fried seafood. The ramen was good, although I've had better, it was above average. The fried seafood appetizer is not worth ordering again as it was a bit overpriced and delayed the meal. As... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
