La Mangeoire has been around for 45 years and I have known it for 35. It always was mostly good, sort of, but had started to slip and my last visits were disappointing. That has now stopped. Gary is the new host, originally from London...More

I have previously given this restaurant a glowing review as I have eaten there many times over the course of a few years. The service and staff (French) were tops and so was the food. Not so much any more. No French spoken anymore? The...More

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years. It has changed physically and the menu also. Not as French as before, large American style portions now and rather ordinary. Still good value if looking for a good meal without surprises or innovation.

Wonderful meal and NYC setting with indoor/outdoor eating. Nice french bistro menu with great wait staff. We both started with the Endive Salad that was a chopped salad with tarragon dressing and grated roquefort cheese - simply amazing! I had the Baby Calamari in basil...More

We caught up with a friend who lives in New York and he approved of our choice (we booked via Open Table from the UK). This place has an authentic French vibe about it (but with better service), and classic French dishes on the menu....More
