Loud, impersonal, dreadful service (we had nearly finished our mains when the wine deigned to turn up) and seriously mediocre food (do you really have to ask for lemon to squeeze over seafood in this day and age?) this is the perfect Italian restaurant if...More

Christmas is a very busy and exhausting experience in NYC. We stopped by Felidia and was able to get seats at the bar which was fine by us. The meal, the service and the ambiance was excellent. The young lady behind the bar, Nerissa, was...More

This restaurant certainly has had its share of excellent press. It is true. The pasta was outstanding and the liver and onions (I know, perhaps not your thing) was the best I’d ever had. Wine list good, desserts tasty. Great atmosphere.

I am looking forward to a good meal on a cold Thursday night recently and my cousin was footing the bill so the sky was the limit. But I found this place, while welcoming, to be very loud and crowded (we got bumped several times...More

This is how you do fine dining! Impeccably trained staff, quiet townhouse location. Such a pleasure to dine here amid the constant hubbub of NYC. A respite, to be sure. Bean soup was magnificent as was game ragout. Outstanding Italian wine list. Even my 11...More

I don't expect great value for the money when dining at a high end restaurant. I expect to pay an arm and a leg, and the concept of value is not part of the equation. Not so at Felidia. Given the overall quality of the...More

The food at this place is amazing! Reminiscent of local Lake Como fare and unique among other Italian restaurants in the US. Service was impeccable. Details were refined. The presentation matched the taste. Additionally, we were able to ask to be accommodated in time to...More

Dined with a group of 6 on a Sunday night. Limited menu with high quality preparation. Service was not remarkable. Captain rushed us to order due to a late arriving guest. Felidia failed from the get go with no blue cheese stuffed olives for Martini's...More

I would give this place ten stars! This was our third visit to this delightful restaurant with Nuovo Italiano food and Old-School service! I always have the GF pappardelle with hudson valley duck & mushrooms - my favorite thing to eat. It was, as always...More

I've eaten at Felidia many times and the hallmark is, they are gracious about accommodating guests. There is no kids menu but they would likely be glad to do a half portion of pasta or a relatively unadorned piece of fish... More

Felidia is located in a converted Brownstone on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Opened in 1981 by Lidia Bastianich, Felidia offers a warm atmosphere where you can still find Lidia greeting guests and fans. Executive Chef Fortunato Nicotra has been with Felidia since 1996 and has brought an innovative touch to traditional ingredients and dishes from all the regions of Italy. Some of the restaurant's signature dishes include pear and fresh pecorino ravioli, veal shank ossobucco and limoncello tiramisu. Felidia also offers a delicious three course price-fixed lunch, Monday - Friday for $29.50 per person, making the restaurant great for business lunches or just a nice afternoon treat. For parties of 8 or more, Felidia offers our group dining menu rather than the a la carte menu. The group dining menu is a four course menu and includes our most popular dishes and seasonal favorites for $90.00 per person.
