If you love steak and would like to kick back and enjoy a bar style atmosphere then you found the right place. Serving the same menu as Smith and Wollensky but in a casual atmosphere then look no further. We ordered different dishes and different...More

Just happened to be staying near the Grill while on a trip to New York, walking past the restaurant on the way to my hotel and what grabbed me was the waitress carrying a tray with a steak that really caught my eye! We decided...More

This place serves the best steak I've had in New York. The service was great and the atmosphere was buzzing. And I'm not exaggerating when I say how good that mac and cheese is! I highly recommend this place and I encourage anyone to give...More

We were disappointed with our meal. Both soups for our starters were flavourless and my pea soup (which the waiter assured me was "famous") was made out of canned peas, not fresh. The prawns in the prawn starter were so watery, I did not know...More

I make it a point to visit this restaurant on every trip to NYC, which might be three or four times per year. A reliable steakhouse, that seems to cater equally to east side locals, as it does to the visitors staying at nearby mid-town...More

We waited around 35 minutes for our food which turned out to be average at best. The bread was over toasted and the chicken bland. If you are British be careful between chips and crisps! Service okay but not great.

Smith & Wollensky is one of those restaurant lankmarks that you should definitely drop by if you want a taste of NYC. Located in the corner of 49th St and 3rd Ave, it's pretty hard to miss it as it's unique European building architecture makes...More
