Waited in line for a bit, but this allowed us to finalize our orders - there is a decent selection of bagels/bialys and toppings to choose from - the whitefish was very delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. The bagels were great, and the...More

Visited based on other reviews and this shop's ranking on best bagel lists but found the bagels a bit lackluster. Service was friendly. Be aware that's there's virtually no seating so don't plan on being able to eat in.

We were staying up the road from Kossar's so decided to stop by for a quick breakfast on our way to do some sightseeing. We didn't try the bialys but the bagels were very tasty. We had the 'everything' bagels toasted and shmeared it with...More

Probably not as well known as some of the other NY bagel places but every bit as delicious. Their bialies are amazing but try to wait it out until they are hot out of the oven. They have two types--fresh and delicious or stale and...More

Thanks to the food network, we tracked down a bakery who made Bialys, which is a chewy yeasty roll similar to a bagel. We ended up going to Kossar's recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel - supposedly there is an art to...More

Kossar's bialy's (Polish bread) and bagels has been at this location since around 1936. The bialy's are delicious, there only used to be one kind of bialy when i was a little boy now there are many flavors. Same with the bagels. Great deals cheapest...More

I love the bagels and bialys from this place. You can taste the difference in quality from the store brands. I usually visit to get a pack of four bagels and bialys to eat latter for breakfast. They are divine when toasted with butter or...More
