I am very conservative when it comes to spices & was a little hesitant to order. BUT I had the most delicious dosa #5 Avocado fresh tomatoes, arugula, jack cheese & chicken. Portions are big! Lots of Indian spices & fresh vegetables & sauces to choose from. Food is prepared quickly. A very tasty experience.....

Functions almost like a fast food joint. Small space. You order and pay at the counter. They call your name when your order is ready. Though the dosa (crepe) dough itself doesn't come close to what you get in India, these guys have some interesting fillings. I had the curried chicken which was quite delicious. You also pick your chutney..... More

My coworkers raved about this place, so I just had to pay it a visit. I thought that the dosa was pretty good... I maybe would have expected a little more flavor, but overall it was okay... I wouldn't travel across the City to have it again though. The cashier was surprisingly unfriendly. Usually in these kinds of restaurants the... More

This is an eclectic place, with the authentic Indian savory crepe called dosa and its offshoots. I normally stick to the Plain Dosa and Plain Uttapam (savory pancake). And it's pretty up there, and close to the traditional thing. No sambar accompaniment however, pretty sad. And the chutneys leave much to be desired, they are pretty tart. I also love... More

Tasty, healthy and reasonably priced. I want there after lunchtime so it was quiet and delicious. Try the cardamom coffee. I can't wait to be back!

For a quick tasty and reasonably healthy snack on the run, this place is pretty hard to beat, especially if you are a fan of the South Indian Dosa, an outsized rice-flour pancake filled with various treats. Some of the fillings on offer are a little hybrid NY/Asia, but nothing wrong with that at all. Everything I've ever had here... More

Dosa cravings are real! Chutney cravings even more so. This hybrid dosa place with fantastic fillings is a must visit Soho eatery. I love the traditional masala dosa the best with potato filling, but the chicken curry dosa was outstanding too. Not for me the quasi-pizza dosa though. The chutneys dazzle, and I do day dream about my next visit... More

Yumm, easy to order and great for lunch, very filling (do not be fooled by the "lightness" of the dish) Would visit again anytime.

Good reliable food and friendly service. There are vegetarian options and wholesome ingredients are used. It's not a full service restaurant. You order, pick up then sit.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
