If you just strolled by and didn’t know the restaurant or had heard about it, you probably would not enter it. The entrance is a little awkward. But if you make it inside you’ll love it. The decoration is one Bollywood spectacle and really special....More

Tasty food, with a great atmosphere, but the space was to small. They don’t sell wine not even beer. But they allow you tu bring your own alcohol if you want.

We came for dinner in the evening of Cinco de Mayo so it was not packed as usual. The decor is very special, my child loved it. Although I worry about fire safety in places like this. We had - samosa (ok), pakoras (good), fried...More

This place was a great find. The area was really small, but the energy of the staff and the ambience of the restaurant, along with the great food made the scrunched space well worth it. The price was very reasonable.

Looks like this place has really gone downhill, bland tasteless food, main course virtually thrown at us while we were still eating our appetisers, rude uncommunicative staff.. Can do so much better elsewhere. Poor.

Came here the other night as someone had told us about it. The lights were very fun, but the atmosphere is not great, the staff made us wait in the kitchen area at the back for our table we had booked (which they had clearly...More

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
