Nice little restaurant with a great Middle Eastern menu. All kinds of deliecious salads too. Everything made or grilled fresh. You can also take out food from this restaurant.

The menu tries to hit all things Israeli, even if the origin descriptions are a little fuzzy (North African shakshuka under "Yemenite"?). Some things, like the humus and tabouli, were good. My lamb kefta was string and tough, though.

We had lunch and had the vegetarian falafel. This was very nice. It tasted great and the prices are very fair. I could come and eat there everyday. Staff is very friendly! Highly recommended!!!

We have been here during our new York trip and we are very happy we found it. Even It looks not that nice from the outside, the food is very good and not pricey at all for New York. For everyone who loves lebanese food. Absolutely recommended!

I had falafel at one time and then the Beef Shish Kabob another time. I am extremely happy with their food. I would come back over and over again if I'm in that neighborhood. It's very filling and the price is so cheap for dinner.

In NYC on business. Stuck in the office working with a colleague until 10 PM. Needed to order food in for dinner quick and painlessly. I had wandered around Tribeca the other night (ate at Chop't) and noticed this place almost next door. Made a mental note and grabbed a takeout menu. So when tonight's situation presented itself, it was... More

The recipes will have you thinking that you could be eating in Tel Aviv along the Promenade, but it is New York City. Food is fresh, and well presented. When just walking around the Nolita area, this corner establishment at Broome and Spring St is well worth dropping in.

Dropped by for a light lunch. Not a lot of seating but we got a seat no problem. Open kitchen making the traditional fare as well a some unique sandwiches. Check out the online menu...very interesting. I have the shawarma sandwich and lentil soup and it was very tasty and a nice size portion, good service, nice and clean take... More

This casual little restaurant makes the best Israeli hummus & felafel in New York. Most people order counter service and take away, but there are also tables and wait-staff service. Each dish is made to order, so when they are busy can be a bit slow. I come here often and usually get the hummus & felafel platter with lemonade... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
