Always enjoyed eating here. The food was solid and the atmosphere simple and casual. It was a great local restaurant but the space is now empty.

Was an excellent French Bistro that closed over the summer. So sorry to see it go. At the moment, it does not look like they'll be reopening in a new location.

The service was great, the staff really nice and attentive, and great food. Somewhat expensive, but it's NYC, so no surprise.

A first visit for me and I liked the place very much. The food and service were very good. Its a sweet, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant. An adult restaurant - meaning not noisy and its on Open Table.

My husband claims that Joul has the 'best burger' he's ever had. I go for the more classic French fare which is consistently good as well. The food is carefully prepared and of high quality. I first to Joul with my parents who loved the...More
