The food is very, very good. The ingredients and the mix of them make for some very good dishes. When it comes to the food you will not be disappointed. However the mark up/cost is astronomical and for me does not justify the food experience...More

It was several years ago that i last visited Le Colonial, always a favorite, and was delighted to find that it remains as delightful and satisfying as ever. The lower dining room still has the relief tin ceilings with suspended fans and palms that give...More

Having eaten at the one in Houston, I knew we were in for a treat. Was still on a quest for decent Vietnamese in NYC after a terribly disappointing experience at Indochine last month, and was not at all disappointed. The five spice duck steamed...More

My personal favorite is the Bo Luc Lac, seared filet mignon over water crest salad and lemon pepper vinaigrette, but the Vit Quay is pretty good too.

Le Colonial is a truly delightful culinary experience. Like stepping into French Colonial Southeast Asia, this two-story restaurant, designed by Greg Jordan, consists of a main dining room with louvered wall panels, colorful tile floors, and vintage photos of Vietnam. Upstairs is an elegant, but lively, lounge serving a full dinner or just appetizers and cocktails. The lounge serves as an ideal setting for private parties and business dinners. Le Colonial serves an authentic Vietnamese menu with an emphasis on fresh seafood, meats, and vegetables.
