Had their signature vodka slice, sausage roll, cheese slice. Excellent! Finished with a Brooklyn Lager. This is a must try!

Tired and hungry after walking round little Italy we needed fuel. Put off by the street barkers and big menus of what seemed like hundreds of restaurants we stumbled across this corner pizzeria. Small, friendly and unassuming we just wanted pizza and wine. Lots of it. This is not a smart restaurant just a non pretentious feeding stop. We just... More

We stopped by Pomodoro for a quick lunch. I got the Sausage Parm Hero. Very tasty, the sauce was the highlight. Would definitely recommend!

We really fancied trying a Italian meal and as New York is famous (or infamous !) for this thought to have a look round came across this place and as has been noted it's probably not the most fancy looking place but this was made up for by the bonhomie of the staff nothing was too much trouble unfortunately spent... Small restaurant but the food makes up for it. Most delicious lasagna ...very fresh tasting sauce, cheese calzone was huge and very reasonably priced. Our best meal while spending 5 days in NYC.

Their sauce is delicious but their salads are to be avoided. Slices are okay, the veal parmigiana was tough but the buns were dynamite. The best thing ordered was the philly steak (no onions or peppers). We were a group of eight who stopped for a late lunch around 3 and waited about 30 min for our lunch of slices,... More

The pizzas were beautifully cooked and very tasty. The Greek salad was very fresh and the garlic bread hot and buttery. The surroundings are simple but clean.

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
