I was on a Walking Tour of the City with a guy called 'Jack'. He brought us to this delightful Restaurant for lunch. Great atmosphere, it felt unrushed but we were not there long as we had to get going again to finish the tour. I had lasagna like I've never tasted before (don't tell my wife!)...and away we went....I... More

This just happened to be the place to stopped at while walking through Little Italy during lunch time. It did have a nice Italian feel with the wood rafters, vines hanging all over and the wine bottle stored in the rafters. The restaurant had a few other people but not crowed, service was quick and the food was good as... More

This is a must stop location when my wife and I are in the city. As always the staff is friendly and fast service. However the quality of the food has changed for the worse. I had the porcini mushroom ravs and my wife had the eggplant parm, The eggpalnt patties are frozen and over fried, and the ravs are... More

We enjoyed lunch here a few days ago while visiting New York City. I had the cheese stuffed Ravioli (the sauce was perfection!), and my husband enjoyed their Lasagna. Delicious!

Wanted pasta so I headed to Little Italy. This place seemed nice so I stopped in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a simple dish of Spaghetti Marinara. It was good but not great. The prices were reasonable and the decor was nice. I may go back again to try another dish since I felt so welcomed.... More

I got recommendations from friend of mine that this is a truly Italian restaurant. I visited the place for a late lunch. When I saw an Chinese guys in the kitchen and wine from Chile on the table, I said I am leaving. But I stayed. The pasta was very good and overall food quality was ok. So the Chinese... More

What a find! My husband and I almost passed this quaint little restaurant by but thanks to the nice man at the door who welcomed us in and located us a table we nestled in to enjoy a lively meal and bottle of chianti. The staff here make you feel very welcome and water and bread with pesto oil are... More

We arrived before 6:00. But, it was very busy already. We got a table for 2. We were served promptly and the service was friendly. We ordered the meat ravioli as an appetizer. It was there pronto. We were hungry, so, great. The ravioli was the best thing we had, and it was very good. I chose Paesano's because it... More

My wife and I had an excellent dinner. The service was great, love the atmosphere, and try the veal, it's the best in the city.

Thank Tom B

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
