Food can be quite good or quite mediocre. The lemon ricotta French toast had good toast but bland and dry ricotta. The slow braised ribs burger was very good, but the fries were hard and almost felt old. The service is below average. Inattentive waiter, we had to get up ourselves multiple times to get what we needed. Good prices.... More

An East Village institution that has been a reliable and informal place since the 90's. Spacious and good for groups (if you book ahead) and also for a relaxed brunch in any season. The outdoor area is used for most of the year. Food is consistent and decent, service is good.

The Bowery Bar and Grill has an historic past that is documented with many pics on their walls. We had a nice relaxing lunch out on the patio under mild sunny skies. Food was good and service OK. One can also dine inside, with a standard stocked menu.

Totally rude and unattentive waiters who take ages to come to your table and just look put out to have to serve you. Oh and you have tip in America which makes the whole experience more painful

Once a Gulf station, this restaurant offers moderately-priced sandwiches, salads, and other dishes in three pleasant settings: inside, outside, and in-between in an open but covered area. Banquettes inside recall '50s diners. The salade niçoise, with a slab of fresh tuna grilled to perfection, is outstanding, the fried calamari are tender and delicious. A full bar complements the offerings.

This has been a favourite for a long time but a word of warning to Mojito lovers. These used to be the best on the planet but I think there is a new cocktail maker & last Sundays' just weren't up to par, so come on guys get that muddling back.

We came for drinks after work with a huge group of probably 30 or more. Even with a large group, they kept the drinks flowing and the payments processed in a reasonable amount of time. They have an inside restaurant and bar area, an outside covered patio, and a non covered patio with walls to separate from the sidewalk and... More

The manager Aaron was the most unprofessional and inappropriate "manager" I've ever come in contact with. We put our name down at to be seated at 4:30 pm. They told us the wait was 45 minutes. 3.5 hours later they're seating us. I let the manager know and he responded by laughing and giving me a thumbs up sign. There... More

My wife and I split a burger and shared a bowl of soup on a cold winters day. Service was a little slow but she was busy with the whole place. Good lunch spot.
