I get lunch from Olive's - a lot. They deliver. Great sandwiches and salads. Thursday is avocado day! So the sandwich special has them on board. Soups are interesting and yummy cookies too. Not a meat eater, so I find they have a robust veggie selection to choose from. Have seen my fair share of celebrities in here having a... More

We stopped by Olive's for lunch while in SOHO. I had a salad with grilled chicken, and my wife had a sandwich. Both were excellent. We also had coffee drinks that were very good. Note that Olive's is very small. There is a counter with seating for about 4 people. We were lucky to get a place to sit because... More

Tiny and appealing sandwich shop in SoHo. A chocolate chip cookie was excellent. Coffee was so-so. Expensive.

Fantastic sandwich shop. The variety of food, the expertise in which it is prepared is second to none. The staff was friendly, and quick. The owner, who I had a chance to chat with, is extremely pleasant and passionate. Don't forget the coffee!

Olive garden on Wold road, in Colonie in Albany is a family restaurant were you can take your kids to enjoy italian food. The staff was very nice and well trainded! The wine was good and it's price excellent! I think all dishes come with a salade and you can choose the dressing.

This place is an institution, and although the prices are a bit of a shock, the neighborhood is very expensive. Expect to spend $15-20 total for a delicious sandwich, cookie, and an iced tea. I go time and time again, because they literally get you in and out the door in about 3 minutes on average. And in NYC, time... More

We popped in for a small lunch taking a break from the shopping mission we were on and really enjoyed a tasty White Bean Soup and 1/2 Avocado Salad Sandwich. It's a great deal and works well as a pit stop on the spending spree. This sandwich bar is also well used by local fashionistas and shop attendants so it's... More

Just stopped here for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was a daily special with scrambled eggs, ham and cheese. Very simple and did the job. Coffee and sandwich was $11 incl tip so not so bad.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
