Our second visit to Cucina and it was just as great as the first time. The service was wonderful, our glasses were never empty as the gentleman refilled them immediately. I have never had a better Sicilian lasagna and the Tiramisu was amazing. I cannot...More

Despite the reviews, there must be a dozen better places to eat in this in the area. The place was empty on a Friday evening when other restaurants had queues. Can not understand why such lacklustre service and mediocre food deserves such praise from other...More

Visited this restaurant based on the online reviews. I think that the decor was just recently updated as it looked new. Service was good and the food was very tasty. It was also very affordable considering other restaurant prices in the city. If you take...More

Once you get past the shabby exterior you are in an attractive, excellent restaurant. We were a group of seven, and all seven were pleased. Delicious, generous appetizers, and very good main courses. The non fish-eater among us enjoyed his veal marsala. The smallish wine...More

So they have good food and good prices for NYC, but it's pretty obvious that this restaurant has been around for a while. i think it's time to bring it up to modern design, but other than that I have only good things to say....More

Early bird specials are from 4:30 to 6:30. They do not honor them if you are late. They give a nice salad, bowl of soup, choice of 6-7 entrees. with a glass of wine or soda, or coffee, or tea. Food is constantly good.

We ate before a New York Theater Workshop performance and were blown away by the food and the value. There was a $13.95 deal with soup, salad, entree, desert, and beverage ( huge wine pour ).

Serious cooking and good service, a southern-Italy menu and a modest but decent wine list. Pleasantly light, but not bright room, and sound level is energetic.

We came across this restaurant when roaming East Village. Whenever me and me boyfriend see fish and seafood restaurant our eyes glisten. We were not disappointed! We ordered octopus carpaccio salad as a starter to share and then seafood pasta and seafood black ink ravioli....More

There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
