Put Carmines on your list of places to eat when you visit NYC. Make a reservation....it is always busy. Food is served family style...so large portions for sharing. We had the calamari and the chicken parmigiana. Both were excellent.

We travel to NYC twice each year. Carmine's is a "must-eat-there." We usually get the Porterhouse Pizzaolia. A thin perfectly cooked steak smothered with roasted peppers, onions and marinara sauce. Enough for two, even three people. All of their entrees are enough for two people,...More

I saw many families with many different aged children there. They would bring out large plates covered in pasta for the family to share. The food is phenomenal...did not see a children's menu or pizza on the menu

Description
Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
