Don't have a ton to say about Angelo's, but as a New Yorker, I would safely recommend to travelers. Be careful not to be fooled into some restaurants in Little Italy, as they are overpriced and non-authentic. Angelo's will serve you good food, in a nice setting, and satisfy your Little Italy trip. After dinner walk to Ferraro's for some... More

I've been coming here every 5-8 years for the past 35 years. The food is still very good, and you can't complaint about the service, but the interior is starting to look at little worn and the atmosphere has changed. Even 8 or 10 years ago, the staff was very energetic and proud, the clientele was dressed up (at least... More

Out of all the delicious places to eat in Little Italy, let alone NYC, this place came with high expectations but did not meet them. Don't get me wrong... it was good, but I was hoping for great. Old school simple decor, mural painted walls, waiters with white overcoats, all give it the type of classic Italian feel you might... More

This restaurant, located directly in the area of Little Italy, has been offering excellent Neapolitan cuisine for more than 100 years. The local taste has become such legend that some sauces of this restaurant can now be ordered on the Internet. In addition, Angelo of Mulberry Street is favorably distinguished by its authenticity from many other places in Little Italy,... More

A very disappointing wending in Little Italy. Looks ok from the outside but fails in every other respect. The front man was just rude. The food was below acceptable. Service was very fast just like a production line. Did not feel valued. Food did not satisfy. Would never return to this establishment

This restaurant was recommended to us. We took the subway there and taxi back to 8th Ave. The food and service were excellent - a little pricey but not surprised for New York. Not much in the way of a children's menu but we made due and the 8 year old loved it.

... and not worth the price! The stuffed artichoke was so salty we couldn't eat it. None of us finished our entire meal - everything was blah, blah, blah! Would not go back and will not recommend to others!

I have been to lots of restaurants in Little Italy and this one is by far the best food ever. The service is great . Ordered the Rigatoni with meatballs and I wish I could have taken the leftovers with me I am already back home and still think of that pasta. The Appetizers were great we had Calamari fried... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
