Found this diner on the second day of our NYC vacation and we could not have been more satisfied! Quite close to the city center and to Central Park, great place to eat, traditional diner-style restaurant with super friendly staff and delicious meals! The burgers...More

We are fans of good New York City diners. This is one of the best we have found. The food is great - the menu is extensive - and the specials are more creative than you might expect. It's also really clean and welcoming. The...More

This friendly place is “old school” complete with booths and Formica tables and countertops and old fashioned posters advertising Nesbitt’s orange soda. Blackboard lunch specials included a hearty meatloaf sandwich (with fries) which my spouse ordered and loved. I had one of my all-time favorites—a...More

We stopped in here for a late lunch after touring the Met. The menu variety includes vegetarian and carnivorous selections. The service is courteous and prompt. Prices track to the upper east side of Manhattan. Seating is a bit cramped, however.

We visited for Sunday Brunch and had a fantastic brunch. The place was absolutely packed but we were seated quickly. This diner is fantastic - good coffee, great food and busy. We had pancakes and french toast and scrambled eggs but there were so much...More

We wanted to have a good burger in the area, and we had heard EJ is the place: we were not disappointed. EJ is more of a diner than a coffee shop, a bit more refined and with a nice menu with many choices. The...More
